Does it really matter?
Does it make sense for cisco to test you on anything beside 12.?
CCNA is entry lvl, it only test basic IOS command.
I won't worry/stress over this trivial matter.
but I dunno, whoever has taken the 607 and show ver it are better suited to answer your question.

I would venture to say that nothing has been introduced in IOS since 11.0 that is covered in the CCNA. You can probably even go back to 10.3, except that I don't think that the "copy run start" type commmands existed then.
When you're talking about the CCIE lab, yeah, then it makes a difference because when they updated to 12.1 you knew that they could start to include things like IOS Firewall, Mobile IP, etc. Do you need to worry about that sort of thing in the CCNA test? No, I really doubt it.
