on-line Schooling
I was wondering if anyone has taken any courses online or got a degree online and if so how was the experience. I am thinking about doing this because I do not like to wait for the professor to get to the material that I have already got to. I would like something were you can move fairly quickly in your studies (my own pace) that is why I like the certs so much but I do think that I should get at least my Associates.
I already have enough credits but they are not in the right area. For an associates it is about 60-65credit hours I already have 75 but when filling out applications I have to put some college instead of associates (should have just went that route to begin with and already had it but I had to go to a private 4yr college and party every night)
It does not look good to employeers to see that you only have some college it looks like you can finish anything.
Well any help on online classes would be great, links or names.

I've been doubtful of schooling over the internet.
It seems wise. But I myself like interactions in person to learn from everyone else

Hmmmmmmmm .........
Though I have never done a course online before, the main thing I would look for after content would have to be on-line help from a tutor etc just in case I were to come across something I needed more information.

I have used online schooling before, but not for a degree, or actual school credit, it was mainly to learn things for my job. It was pretty good, but you do have to be motivated to do the work more so than in an ordinary classroom.

My college offers about 1/2 of their general education type classes online. I've taken a few and IMO it's a lot more convienient then going to classes. They have the online classes setup with about the same student/professor ratio as the normal classes so it's easy for me to get in contact with my professors.
