Are You One of the 30% Curve?
This quote was taken from this thread:
http://www.examnotes.net/forums/sho...5078#post175078
quote: The 30% curve is what MS uses to allow you to pass tests. If 100 people take the test and 100 people get a score of 100% only 30 of them will pass the test. MS uses this method to keep some prestige in the MCSE Cert.
This simple poll is to find out how many people have passed an MS test first time or if you were one of the unlucky 70%.

Passed all of my MCSE exams and the Network+ first time. Perhaps I'm weird but I've always liked doing exams. Regard them as a challenge; me against them.

I passed all of mine, including the 240 upgrade. I failed a beta exam. Have not retaken yet. I do not like to fail expecially if I am paying for the test. I just did not prepare enough for the beta. I wnated to take if for the experience.

Luckily with all of my preparations on each exam I've taken. I've been fortunate enough to have passed all of the on my first attempt.
I believe in persistency. Always there to achieve the goal desirable.

well
I have taken 21 tests
and I have failed 2 of those.
One was IIS 4.0 the other was 70/240 accelerated.
I think that only comes to a 9% fail rate though.
I`d better check my math though.
I can`t believe I am beating the curve LOL

I have only taken 3 Microsoft exams, but I passed them all. I find it extremely hard to believe that there is such a thing as the "30% curve."
