Time Limit
I have seen conflicting indications on this forum on the time limit for 218. I have read 150 min., and I recently read a posting of 180 minutes. Can somebody please clarify.

I just took it about 2 weeks ago & I had 2 1/2 hours, or 150 minutes. 12:30-3:00pm!

I also had 150 minutes, but you probably won't even need 100.

You've probably read the 180 minutes time limit in one of my posts. Well, that's what I got for my exam on 14 March. I remember that when I looked at the count down clock after I've finished the first few questions, it was ticking at 2:53:xx. So it was a 3 hour test for me. Nevertheless, I managed to passed it within 2 hours.

Time Limit - not important
I took the test last Thursday, and it had a 2.5 hour time limit.
If you have even the slightest idea what you're doing, the only reason you'll be looking at the time on there is because it's the only indication of how you've done. Since Microsoft doesn't share the score with you anymore, the best you can do when showing off to your co-workers is say, "Hey, man, I was in and out of that test in 34 minutes!"
It's such a mind-numbingly easy exam. If they let us know what the cutoff point for passing was, there'd be more test security because, as I said, if you have any idea what you're doing, once you'd answered an equal number of questions to the passing percentage, you'd press end test and walk out with your passing score report. It's that simple.
The hardest part was staying awake.
I did not study at all for this one. It was a combination of the study I did for my MCSE (a year ago) and the hands on work I get.
Good luck! (Not like you'll need luck, but...)
