Tell me I'm full of it....
I have a 2600 router w/ IOS v12.0.
I had two serial interfaces (1-WICT1DSU, 1 60pin)
I wasn't using the 60pin so I removed it according to Cisco directions.
It seems as though the configuration from the removed interface then applied to my other card?
Has anyone EVER heard of anything like this?

Seems pretty straightforward to me; put it back in.
What, specifically was the 60 pin i/f called. The WIC you have left in, is it a WIC-1DSU-56K4? Cos here's a useful link for it, if you don't have it already:
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td...t/duwn__y1.htm.
Might be that both interfaces were sharing the same electrical/electronic resources. Dunno, maybe, just guessing.

Did the interface number change with the removal? Interface serial 0/2 became 0/1 because there was no 0/1 anymore?
Just guessing.
