Yup, you got it right, thats what my book says too. Slip can only encapsulate ip packets, it does not support dynamic ip addresses because it requires user intervention, only supports asynchronous communication up to 56kb/sec, lacks error correction capability, and cannot strap two channels together to increase bandwidth. PPP however dynamically negotiates ip's, can use multiple protocols, and uses the highest possible reliable connection using LCP. Thats a little more than the question asked but just in case they ask it a little different next time.
