testing tomorrow (2-15) - any last minute suggestions?
Gentlemen (and ladies if any): I am taking my CCNA tomorrow and am looking for any last minute suggestions anyone might have! I have been taking the Transcenders practices, and consistently score between 750 to 770. Thats a fail on their sims but i have heard theirs are harder than the real exam, so i am hoping for the best. My weak point is in remembering some of the commands, but i can usually figure them out when i see them (or partials). Other than that, I am fairly strong on most issues. I usually take about 30 to 35 minutes to do a sim test of 78 questions. I figure if i force myself to take my time and read everything twice...
any suggestions? sorry my post is so long.

Check this out
i Know this late for you but not others.
i still need to take it but i have looked at the ccna 1.0 ; some of em are the same multiple questions, and i mean the EXACT ones from the first AND second - year companion guide chapter questions. This is an excellent study tool. Also, buy the first year companion guide workbook and journal! These CCNA Review questions that i found in here are diff than the ones in the big text book and cisco also takes these ones. do NOT and i reapeat do NOT buy the second yr comp. guide wrkbk -- its questions are the same as teh one in the 2nd yr comp. guide textbook.
the wrkbk costs about $23-$25
get a vol II --- the latest one. Go to journeyed.com to get it or to a cheaper place.
\
ciscopress.com is too expensive.
check out some braindumps too.
Hey, if you go any ideas on how to study for the CCNA 2.0, email me at
Vinnypatel@hotmail.com
Label the subject -- CCNA Exam so i know not to delete it.
hope this helps,
Vinny

You need to know frame and ISDN
Mine was pretty frame/ISDN intensive. You need to know what the different show commands display when used with frame. You need to understand the 3 switching modes.
I was getting about 94% on Transcender and 98% on Boson. I got 956 on the exam, which is about 92%.

Relax
Take a deep breath and relax. Try not to scare yourself. That's what I did. I panicked so much before the test that I needed to nap to calm down. When I started testing, I found that I had "spazzed out" for nothing. As long as you've done the studying and put effort into it, you should do well. Good luck!!

Exactly to what TREE said. Also do a quick recap of the questions posted onto this forum. And go into the exam free minded, don't burn yourself out.
Good luck
