What books for MCSE Core?
Decided to get my MCSE. I need to know which text material is advised and what V-LABS(if any) are recommened for the core set of MCSE tests. I saw the following listed on the net:
*MCSE:Windows 2000 Core Requirements Virtual Lab(by James Chellis,Matthew Sheltz)and MCSE:Windows 2000 Core Requirements (Jim Chellis,Lisa Donald,Anil Desai,Paul Robichaux).
Then, I saw the *Transcender Core-PAK-Deluxe (MCSE 2000 Workstation Core Pak) for $2,399.
Can anyone offer me any advise on which of these options is better suited for Home Study?? I figure the $$$ I would spend on builing a server and workstations to practice on could be spent on a Virtual Lab.
Thanks

MS Training Kit is good and MOC is good as well.
Transcender is the most popular prep software

Where to purchase MOC
OK,
Where can I get the MOC..and do you think
I need a Virtual Lab as well..or does the MS Press come with a trial/temp OS that I can install on real computers to practice on..
Also, would I need transcender in addition to MOC, and MS Press??
Lots of questions, I know..just trying to maximize my $$$ (if you know what I mean :-)

you need a hands-on lab, that's for sure. 3 PCs will do the trick to get 2 DCs and 1 client. Don't waste your time with simulators.
Transcenders is a nice add-on, but pricey.
The MOC is available from most training centers...
