Does Mike Meyers 2nd ed. Network+ book cover the new exams? The book was published Jan. 28, 2002...please let me know!

I just checked out the book yesterday at B&N - it is indeed for the newer, N10-002 exam.

I'm about 40% complete in preparing for the exam, dont want to prepare for the exam version that is to be retired

As far as I understand it...

N10-002 is the "new" Network+ Exam available for a while? now. These have 2002 objectives.

The older, N10-001 exam with 1999 objectives will no longer be available after March 14, 2002.
