Hi All....This is about CP2000 Track cert..
There is no official news from checkpoint web site or from any other reliable sources...about the CP2000 expiry....
Check point site says that...CP 2000 is still an ACTIVE TRack and there are no indications/ news...about it's expiry on the check point's web site.....
the site only says that... quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When will my 4.0 or CP2000 certifications expire?
Check Point Certifications are valid through the life span of the version that the certification is based on and the next major product release, or for a minimum of 18 months. As of July 10, Check Point will no longer issue certifications versions prior to CP 2000.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is what the GEARSON also told earlier... So Guys..do STOP worrying about the CP 2000 expriy and Go ahead ..if you wish to persue in CP2000 Track...but the latest is always best and long lasting..hence the NG Track is good in this way....
Cheers

hi... I know I haven't been online for long... but I would like to know if the damn test will be expiring and is there a need for me to update? I also have a friend that would like to take the test but he will like to take the 2000 version. Does he need to take the 2000 version or the NG version? please let me know so that I can just upgrade my stuff. Thanks

why bother?
i work with checkpoint a lot and they keep changing their things. with the release of checkpoint NG AI, things are changing again.
be assured that any NG knowledge you acquire as a result of studying for your NG exams will soon be obsolete.
FP1 & FP2 was different. FP3 even more so. now with AI, argh..............

Hi,
I obtained CCSA NG which is FP3, however, when I want to take the CCSE exam, it is already AI version. I would like to ask if I still want to obtain CCSE, does it mean that I have to take CCSA NG (AI) again first?
I cannot find any infomation about this issue in Checkpoint website, could anyone tell me what I can do?
Thanks a lot.

I've asked CheckPoint about this question. The official answer is...
"You may take the NG AI 310 exam only."
You no need to take the CCNA NG AI exam.
Good news
