good book for sql
I am sure a lot of people will tell you good books to buy. I like teach yourself sql in 24 hours and I also like the New Horizons courseware for the class. They will sell you the courseware with out having to take the class.
Just a thought?

You could try "Professional SQL Server 2000 Programming" by Rob Vieira.
Also, when preparing for this exam, I used Books On Line (BOL) VERY heavily. I also practised with the Transcender exams (I had the beta version, but the full version is out now) and then used BOL to research some of my weaker topics.
Finally, if it is any help to you I have put my study notes and some little SQL drills that I made up on my web site (below, look under "Cassie's SQL Resources").
Happy studying!
Cassie

BOL means Books On Line. It is normally installed with SQL server, but can be installed on its own from the CD. The same info is also in the MSDN library. It is very good. I use it daily in my SQL server work.
