There is no need to go backwards and get A+ or mcse. Oracle and cisco are both heavy and you will not find a position that will have you do both.

Since you have the ccna and ccnp you should get more experience. You can use your skills to recommend network setups for friends and other people that own or operate a business.
Why not consult to those that have home networks and tell em about routers and maybe some might find an interest.

I usually inspect people's home/office/corps and see if they are secure, if not i will teach em about network security and help them formulate a policy and recommend hardware cisco or not.

I just got a client today and they have a corp and want cisco design/security .
If you are that confident then work on your social skills and you can land contracts/experience easily.

but going for mcse is not my way of doing things. Why not get into the cisco security tracks, much better and profitable than mcse.
Or learn about checkpoint F1 best non cisco fw out there.

Goodluck!
