I think some of you guys will enjoy this.

The site below is dedicated to a guy called Bernard Shifman. He is a spammer who made the mistake of spamming an active member of SpamCon - the anti-spam organistation.

The SpamCon guy now has this web site documenting the phone calls, e-mails & legal threats subsequently made, and generally running the guy down. It's funny.

Bernie got somewhat upset to say the least.

Great Diversion

I was reading about Bernie and his escapades for almost an hour! Thanks for the link.

That's too funny. His links at the bottom are worth gold... while perusing I stumbled across this at the APA:

quote:
"It is one of the essential features of such incompetence that the person so afflicted is incapable of knowing that he is incompetent. To have such knowledge would already be to remedy a good portion of the offense." Miller, 1993.

This reminds me of a resume we got one day about a year ago. It was from a convicted embezzler trying to get a job as an accountant while he was on probabtion. Will work for cheap, etc. After I got a good laugh (accountant!) I passed the resume on to my boss to share the fun. He reads the resume and says, "Hey! I know this guy!"

We hired him.

He couldn't even start Excel or Word until I made him his very own clickie icons. how'd he manage to embezzle anything? Oh yeah, he got CAUGHT!
