I've got MCSA
Just pass the my final exam 70-218 for MCSA yesterday.
BTW, why MS didn't put MCSA credential in my transcript ?? I passed 210,215,216,218 should be enough, right? anyone knows the answer, pls reply..
I just want to share this info. The test is not 'too' hard compared with designing or Net Infr. 60 questions in 2.5 hours, mostly (in my case) the exam asked about GPO and ADS (approx. 20 % of total questions) the rest is about VPN, DNS, DHCP, and other administrator stuff.
If you need any 'readiness review', refer to
http://www.8wire.com/techfocus/
I knew it from someone (forgot the name) posted it here a few days ago.
Hope this info can help others.

First this, then that
Congrats on the achievement. In regards to the transcript, they post the test a day before you get your certification listed. my test results posted on my transcript first, then the next day I received a congrats email from Microsoft for the achievement. At that time my transcript was updated with the MCSA.

70-218 Passed
Congrats to all who Passed, I passed 70-218 on Saturday last, I didn't find it too hard basically it was a combination of the 4 core windows 2000 track with some extras like terminal services. I liked he exam though cause it did seem to have a lot of practical day to day questions in it. One question how do you know if you were one of the first 5000 will they say it in the email or something ? Good luck to all who do the exam. Use the Cramsession it covers most of what's on the test and includes KB numbers for more information.

Congratulations! Was Cramsession all you used or did all the other studying for other exams count?

70-218 Study
Hi the I had allready passed the other exams first but I think anyone with hands on experience and the cramsession should pass as it seems to be geared towards practical real life situations as opposed to just learn off. By the way I still don't know what score you need or what I got. But hey it doesn't really matter you start off stressed about it but get more relaxed as the exam goes on. I have a theory that is the exam is scored quite low now in the 600's to pass but as more people pass or the pass fail ratio changes Microsoft can change the passing score without telling anyone. Any thoughts on that?
