Post Passed BSCI and need some feedback on Cat 2950-24

Passed BSCI today. Took me 45 minutes (outta 90) to finish the 76 questions I had. Didn't get an outstanding score but I've a reason to get drunk tonite!!

Abt 15 questions on ISIS. I've used Routing TCP/IP Vol. 1 (doyle) and some cisco documentation. There were questions on CNSPs and lotsa (~5) questions on IOS commands to show adjacencies and topolgies for the different levels...

By the way has anyone tried this the Cat 2950-24 b4?

I know most people go for the popular 2924 but I think Cisco is dis-continuing sales (and support!! ) for this model.

I intend to use it for BCMSN and then bigger things to come....

Would appreciate any feedback!!

Well done, I think your the first to take BSCI on the forum, doubly well done.

Cisco have replaced the 2924 with the 2950 range and also the 3500 range with the 3550's, though they are continuing to sell the former switches as they were the biggest selling switch - this will be reviewed however.

Do you know if theyre IOS based or set based, I guess theyre IOS but the 3500's are something else again - don't know what they call it though??

I have quoted some of the 2950's and 3550's so hopefully will be able to give more feedback on them soon.

Well done again.
