I think it's discontinued now. I passed it 3 or 4 years ago using the Sybex book mainly.

It appears to be still offerd on the MCP cert site as an elective. But I rarely see posts relating to people taking the exam lately.Anybody out there who has done this exam recently or is intending on taking it,please add your comments.

Yes, the exam is still offered and can be used as an elective for MCSE . I took it around 18 months ago and used the Sybex study guide which was more than enough. If you need any assistance then I will gladly help you out.

I'm really sad so it took me three whole days to read the book, practice the exercises and sit and pass it, but realistically anything between two and four weeks.

Any particular reason on you're not going down the Exchange 2000 route?

Without giving too much away, 5.5 was more focused on administration but 2000 was more on DR and planning.
