Exclamation It is spelled "Definitely"

The word is spelled d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y. It's "definitely". This must be the single most misspelled word I have ever seen online... It seems that everyone has this problem!

It's not "definately". Would you ever say that you have a "finate" number of something? Think of it that way.

I had to point this out, partly because it bothers me to see it happen, and partly because I was hoping you would want to be corrected.

If you don't trust me, look it up yourself at http://www.m-w.com/dictionary

I just had to let everyone know... it needed to be said.

Actually the most misspelled word online is "you're". Everyone always writes "your" when they mean "you're". If you're trying to say "you are", then write "you're".

Also, I've noticed this odd trend of people writing plural with an 's, as in, "My friend and I took our bike's to the park."

I suppose this is just nitpicky and anal but perhaps someone will benefit without feeling singled out.

You're the nitpickiest group of techs I have ever seen.

I always hate it when a small "i" is used in a first person reference, for which an "I" should be used.

Spelling was always my best subject in school, mathematics was not. So if any of you see a mispelling in my posts, it was most likely a typo instead. So save your nasty criticisms for the real poor spellers in the IT world. Don't victimize the innocent.
