hmmmmm
You have till wednesday to pass the ccda?
what kind of unreal expectation is that unless you sit on a dump site and memorize.
The ccda exam is not that easy, have you ever wondered why many get the ccnp then do the ccda? Well becuase, the ccda is not as easy as the ccna and it requires lots of studies and design/case evaluations.
i have read both the DCN and the cert exam guide from CP and i am just doing some case studies and going to take the exam in 2 weeks.
the exam will have lots of differnt factors:
difficult Case studies questions ,general LAN/WAN focus, appletalk, not so sure on how much subnetting but it will be there.
make sure to take practice exams and test you strong as well as weakpoints.
goodluck

hmmmmmm
After i demolish the ccda to shreds, it is time to tackle the cid.
The cid is so much more insane than the dcn, but i like the mind blowing exams.
CID = 100 questions, more case studies than ccda, lol......pain
ccda has tons of case studies that will make some people sick to their stomach, but you have to love cisco for them stressing on foundation and professionality.
1 week + till ccda gets done

An instructor confided to me recently that the CID exam had no case studies.
He said he liked it better than the DCN exam for that reason.
He said it was all high level technology questions.
Can anyone who has taken this confirm this without going into enough detail to break the NDA.
BTW: I`m taking the ccda exam monday and probably CID the week after that.
I feel good about both.

hi guys , i gave my CCDA exam and failed from 20 marks but when i finished my exam there were still 7 questions left . I thought that there will be only 10 or maximum 15 case studies but i got about 26 or 27 case studies from 75 questions and i was sure if i were given some more time then i was going to pass the exam any way i am getting back to horse and i will give again this weak . For those guys who are allready CCNP they need to study only CCDA cert guide book that is enough for them and rest of the things will be on case studies . And don't waste your time too much on each case study question during the exam . I wasted 30 minutes on 1st 2 case studies .
Good luck chodan & huntert for your exams & read Token ring well from cert guide
