Passed!
The last time I took an exam like this was when I wrote i-Net+.
I had marked about 25 questions for review but when I saw 3 minutes and 45 seconds remaining I did'nt bother and hit the END key and tried not to look at the color of the graph - whew! 83%
Personally, I think CompTIA could have done better with the questions. Here's an exampl:
You need to evaluate the new data center before installing servers. What's LEAST significant?
1) ESD Discharge
2) Raised floor
3) Humidifier/De-humidifier
4) Non-water based fire sprinker
To me, they're all highly significant. Can't remember what I chose.
Other qusetions pertaining to running different SCSI drives on the same bus (like having and Ultra2 controller and wanting to connect external Ultra2 and Ultra3 devices to it). I had no questions on SCSI cable lengths and speed.
Troubleshooting was also confusing like trying to decide what to do when an error event occurs (look further for other re-occuring events, restart the service that caused the event, reboot?).
I'm glad this one's out of the way. Now to load up Linux on my PC and give the Linux+ a go.
Good luck everyone. (I'll still be sticking aroung though, this forum's interesting).
