Question IT newbie seeks advice

I recently graduated from college last year with a degree in marketing and I'm having no luck in that career field right now. I am in the process of starting up my own online publication with basic HTML skills, in hopes of starting up a successful business. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what certifications I should study for. I was considering the CIW route , because I feel that would give me all the information I need to know to run a successful site. Any suggestions?????

CIW is a good road to go down. If you are interested in how a website has to look and catch a good feel to it. try software and books from MacroMedia.
I enjoy doing Flash movies

I agree CIW is the best one out, I-Net+ would be helpful too.
