 volume control dissappeared from task bar
Hey everyone, Sister called me she has no sound and volume control has disappeared from taskbar, told her to go to control panel and check box to show it in taskbar, but it is grayed out , cant adjust. Any suggestions? It was working last night she says.

What OS is she operating under? If its 95/98/me it can be a hardware conflict.
If it 2000/XP, to make it simple to retrieve it use the restore option to the previous of when it did work.
