Is SCSA Certification Unpopular?
I'm working at Sylvan Prometric Center.
I don't see anyone who taking the solaris exam.
maybe ... about 5~6 guys took that exam last year...
Most people take Microsoft exam.
MS is #1, Cisco can be second..
CompTia's certification looks cheap.
especially A+. easiest exam..

I don`t think it is unpopular.
It is more dificult to many people with only Microsoft expierience and also the product isn`t as easily available for training.
I just bought the intel version from suns site and plan to get a little hands on.
It is actually pretty cheap 45 dollars and 8 dollars shipping.

I just put a bid in last nite on Ebay for a sparqstation 5 system with solaris8 already loaded.
My current bid is $9.99 but I`m sure that will go up.

popularity contest
Yes, it's unpopular compared to Microsoft, Cisco, and Comp TIA. I'm glad it's unpopular. I've never been trendy anyway.
Unpopular is good thing.

also
I also meant to say that unpopular does not mean that it's undesirable. The job market certainly isn't flooded with SCSA individuals.
