Post How about this?

I asked the following question of Cisco -

Q. I was wondering if, for instance a four part question is asked, would I get any marks for answering 3 parts correctly or is the whole question marked wrong?

The answer I recieved from Cisco is:

A. The entire question would be marked wrong if all 4 parts are not answered correctly.

Shows you have to know your stuff on this one!!

It would be nice if you could get partial credit, but you either know it or you don't.

Hi Guys,

I think they have the wrong aproach...

if the exam pass mark is less than 75% (and all the ones that I've seen are around 70%)...

and they ask a question that has four answers, and you only get three correct...

then that's 75% of the answer correct...

and 75% overall in the exam is enough to pass, so in my mind that question was answered correctly!

Cisco exams are better than MS in that they do tell you how many answers are required. I can't get on with 'tick all that apply' ie the MS style, as I always miss one or two.

I did take one MS exam and I'll not make that mistake again...

Regards
Peter
