Post Answers

Here's the answers:

What port number does DNS (Domain Name Service) use?

B) 53

DNS uses port 53. FTP uses port 21. TFTP uses 69, and 70 is used by the Gopher service.

Bonus Question!

MIME (Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) is used for formatting non-ASCII data to be sent over the Internet. What is contained in the second header of a MIME message?

B) Content-Type

Content-Type is the second MIME header. Version is the first. Source Address and Data are not valid MIME header types. Reference RFC 2045. By most accounts, you need to know these first two headers for the i-Net+ exam.

I'll be back with another question over the weekend!

Maybe I'm crazy, but

isn't it a bad thing when you're in the minority to this degree?

Uh oh.

They look right to me. The first header is version and the second is content type.

MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;
