Hi Buddy,
If you planned to take Solaris 8 SCSA, naturally you should install Solaris 8 instead of other versions as it supports new features such as IPV6 and devsadm command instead of dvconfig...
This way, it ensures that you don't missed out on the new features.
Good Luck!!

Hey Man,
The Solaris 8 Intel Platform is available on the sun site, www.sun.com do a search for it. If you do not find it they do have a loaning department that will lend you the software for a month and if you do not return it they will charge you for it.
DOH! That reminds me
Good luck

search for Solaris 8 Intel Platform
Hi slider,
I did search on the Sun site. I could only
find free download for the Solaris 8 SPARC
platform. By the way, a SPARC is different
kind of CPU from the Intel?

I heard that sparc platform is much better than intel platform. but need sparc system.

I just registered on suns site and then paid for the Intel version "single user licence" to get a little expierience.
I am waiting for it now.
$45.00 and $8.00 shipping
A cheap way to get some "hands on" if you ask me.
