I Have a Bunch of Questions
hey, i am in high school taking cisco semester 2 - i just have quite a bit more homework to do (I 2 AP classes and one honors class) and i do not have all that much time... this is due tomarrow...
What is the definition of enterprise?
Name the reasons for creating a layered model to described networking function:
What does the application layer do?
What does the presentation layer do?
What does the session layer do?
name some of the protocols/application used by the session layer:
What does the transport layer do?
What does the network layer do?
What does the data link layer do?
What does the physical layer do?
What are the layers that make up the host layers?
What are the layers that make up the media layers?
What is a PDU? What is the PDU for the data link layer?
List the encapsulation header for each of the following layers:
What is the definition of a router?
What is the definiton of an ethernet switch?
What are the 3 most common LAN technologies used today?
What cable(s) allow(s) segments up to 185 meters?
What cable(s) allow(s) segments up to 100 meters?
