MAC addresses can be divided into 2 pieces. What are they, and how are they, and how many bits are in each piece?
What is ARP? What does it do?

If a device sends out an ARP request, what will send back the ARP reply? What will send back the ARP reply if the requested device is not on the same segment, and what does it reply with?

Do you really expect the forum memners to do your homework for you? I don't do that for my own kiddies; I will help them if they are really stuck. I won't give them the answers, but I will show them how to get there, provided they have done all they can first.
