Thanks for the advice huntert.
I have read the DCN book from Cisco Press which is very good. Would you recommend getting the CCDA cert book as well?

hmmmmm
I am using both the dcn book and the ccda exam cert guide from cp.
Both those books make an awsome combo and both compliment eachother nice.
I read 1 chapter from each book a day.
Lots of info but it does help to prepare for the exam. i also use visio for designs and projects.
Use a test prep software also to test yourself and see what your weakness might be.
GoodLuck!

I only used DCN and CCDA Exam CERT Guide - both by Cisco Press.
2 awesome books for CCDA
Back that up with some test practice
(eg.Boson) and you should be prepared enough for the test.
Good luck
