Dns
I have many questions that I still need to look up - here's one I can't seem to find (it's probably staring me in the face ).
Which DNS server contains no host records?

Caching-only servers
They contain no zone data. Only data they have is information that is cached while performing queries. All they do is preforn queries, cache the answers, and return the results.

Just to add to the others!!
Just throwing my bit in
A cache server also known as a cache server is a computer setup to store web pages accessed on a large network. This computer is used to forward web pages that may have already been visited to users on the network. By doing this it can help reduce internet traffic congestion.

The Microsoft TCP/IP for WinNT lists 4 different types of Name Server Roles
Primary Name Server
Secondary Name Server
Master Name Server (which can also be a primary or second Name Server I think)
Caching-Only Server
Basically, what I said about the Caching-only server is just about the same thing the book said.
The server wbafrank mention sounds like the description of a proxy server (also commonly refered to as a cache server I think)

ya, caching only server, if you get a question ( i know this is asked on MS tests, but not sure about Inet+), that asks which type of DNS server will provide the best performance with the least amount of administrative overhead, it will also be a Caching-Only Server .. good luck ..
