Help: ActiveX
Hello all,
I tried downloading a musicplayer from download.com and received a message stating:
There's no viewer available for this type of object you are trying to open. The following information about this object....
possible location of viewer: Microsoft Activex Gallery
Does anyone know what this is? What program do I need to download to solve this problem. I did attempt to download a bunch of ActiveX controls but it doesn't seem to help.
Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks,

Active X
ActiveX [Microsoft answer to Java] shows multimedia in web pages. These pages come alive with sounds, animation, video, and graphics. To experience these pages you need to be using Windows 95 or Windows NT and have the ActiveX player installed into your Microsoft Internet Explorer or your Netscape Navigator browsers.
