problem in upgrading a ios on a cisco 2501 ??
hello every body !!
I have a little problem when upgrading the ios of cisco 2500. I would like to install ios 12.0, I get this message during the reboot when I load the ios from a tftp : "dev_open: System flash not writable
[buffer overflow - 1431040/1430870 bytes]", so I try to make more memory available, by erasing the previous ios (11.5), and I get this message : " %dev_open: System flash not writable ". apparantly it is not possible to erase the current ios on cisco 2501 ; and there is not enough memory to load both ios.
does any one know how to upgrade the ios on a cisco 2501 .
thanks for your advice !!!
