Question general question

hi,

I have the A+ certification and i was wondering if i should continue an dget the N+ certification or go with CCNA. I have a few questions , hope you can help me out :

1) is CCNA more recognized as a certification than N+ ?
2) how much does it cost for the CCNA exam ?
3) once you have passed it, are you certified for life ? or do you need to repass it when updates are made to the objectives ?
4) should i have anything else as knowledge before entering the CCNA world ?

Thanks

Jaslie

N+ is about general network knowledge and ccna is about only cisco products.

ccna is more recognized than N+ so.

Also:

N+ is good for life, where as CCNA is good for 3 years, you have to recertify or certify at a higher level.

CCNA is about 50% OSI model, which is not Cisco specific. It would be good to have some hands on experience, but it isn't necessary to pass the exam.

The N+ is a good exam to take in preperation for the CCNA, but if you have to choose between the two, the CCNA is worth more.
