Hello FloatingMonkey,
well done!
So how were the scenario questions? They bother me too...did you have many and were they long and tricky?
Regards
Peter

You'll be fine.
Well done, any questions on enabling encryption and CPU loading? Just kidding.
Peterd, don't worry - do the work and you'll do great. I spent 6 months on CCDA, but didn't have CCNP - you have one (at least) up on me.

Congratulations!!
PeterD - Good luck on the CCDA.
Concentrate in documenting your case studies as you work through them. Work on your technique whereby you record the critical information. This is the most time consuming aspect of this exam and can get frustrating. But you've got to hold your nerves and read the case studies carefully so that you don't miss anything. Case study questions are interlinked in the exam so spend your time wisely.
Get familiar with Cisco products and their features too. Their is a glossary in the CCDA Cert. Guide by Cisco Press
From what I can remember about this exam is that you have to give very 'Cisco' answers.
This exam is a different kettle of fish to the CCNA.
I hope that helps.

Hi FastIP,
sorry for the delay in responding I've been off work for a week and don't have full access to the internet at home (mail only).
Thanks for your input, it's something that I'll have to do but not for a few weeks yet...just a small matter of passing the CIT in around four weeks time!
I've just about finished the CIT book and starting this week on practice questions and revision.
I'll see how it goes with CCDA when I get the book (it's on order) and if it takes me six months to get through it then that's not a problem as it's only for my own satisfaction, I don't actually need it for my job. I'm already well 'over-qualified' for what I actually do here! :-)
Regards
Peter
