How about the best 2 out of 3?
D and E are one in the same. The PII is nothing more than a faster Pentium Pro with MMX and tweaked instruction set. Both use the Slot 1. The only difference between D & E is the wording.
AMD's Sec packages used the Slot A. You can snap a Athlon Sec cartridge in to a Slot 1 just fine--but it won't work.
The K5 (cheapy) were the RISC cpu's (Reduced Instruction Set Computing--pin compatible, socket bound.
All AMD K6s use the Super Socket 7
Cyrix M II, not sure what socket? I wouldn't guess this was a Slot bound cpu. Check their web site.
