First test
I have never taken any of the MS exams before. Everything I know was either through military training or from experience (10 years). I've scheduled my first exam, 70-228, and was looking for some tips. Any help for a first time test taker? FYI, I went through the 2072 class last week, but I know it leaves some holes in the test material. I have about 3 weeks to fill in the holes before the test. Thanks.

What's wrong with taking 70-228 first? I took the associated class last week. The 5 day class that goes over everything. I've been using SQL 2000 for about a year now by reading the books and the fact that I "have" to do it in my job. You know, the "we got this new software now figure out how to use it for us" thing. My company finally agreed to send me to the training class and I would like to take the exam now. Basically my question was about the overall exam experience, not specifically the 228 exam.
Thanks

Tips: Taking a Microsoft Exam
Start with the Exam Objectives;
Review your material using the Ojectives as a guide;
Make your own notes;
Try a pratice simulation, i.e. SelfTest/Transcender;
Identify your areas of weakness;
Make your weakness your strengths;
Schedule your exam;
Relax;

Good luck with developing your exam taking techniques.

Thanks I'm kind of going into this test as a learning experience. If I pass it, great. If not, I will at least learn something. I get reimbursed for these test from my GI Bill anyway, so they are basically free to take!
