Which one will better help me prepare for the CCNA test. I'm currently uing Todd's book and the Simulator Gold edition.

 hmmmmm
the lammle book is good, so is the sybex e-trainer if you do not have a router.
Also read up on cisco.com if you want pure cisco explanations.
