Yeah, chill out. The exam isn't that bad, I sat it on Saturday morning and scored an 880.

Good luck

Angry Guess I'll just have to do it again

So I had good reason to be nervous ... got 580 needed 680 There was so much replication and traveling salesmen... How is it fair that I can work with 1 SQL server with 2 databases and 5 users for a year and know SQL query analizer very well and get so many replication questions? I don't even use replication. Heck I don't even know why I use SQL server it's no more than a data warehouse in my application.

oh,
i think you missed the point.
by reading your short description of what you do you should have take the implemnting sql exam and not the sql admin.
(70-029).
the administrating sql talking about replication and stuff like that because this is important part of DBA.
i think it would be easier for you to take 70-029 first because its more close to what you do and know, after that learn to the administrating sql exam.
use microsoft objectives to help you study.
its not that hard, its possible.

I Passed !

Well I just gave it another shot and this time I passed with a score of 860.. I'm very happy with that. I studied more on the replication scenarios( which I have yet to set up or use in my current job ) and I crammed with the sybex materials.

Thumbs up Congrats!!

Congratulations on your pass - it just goes to show how the real world and exams sometimes don't coincide with each other!!
