Recommendations for Solaris 8 SCSA study guide
Hi All Solaris Experts,
For those who have taken the Solaris 8 SCSA part 1 & 2 exams, could you give me your recommendations for the best guides & exams simulations to prepare for the above 2 exams??
Recently, I saw 2 books from Sun Pressin a bookstore titled :
Sun Solaris 8 system administration and advance administration by Janice Winsor.
In your opinion, are these 2 books close to the exams objectives and good for preparations??
Please advice. Thanks in advance
;0)

Honestly
From my hell of an experience, the Man pages were a very good source of information for a start. I am not breaking the rules in telling you that a good portion of the information required for taking this exam is to understand all the little nasty options for most of the commands.
As far as a good book that tells you which commands are key and which options are important to know, check out Sun Certified System Administrator for Solaris 8 by Peter H. Gregory. Endorsed by Sun Microsystems Press and a great read that takes you in the right direction.
Another great book that I use in real world administration is Solaris by Janice Winsor but it is a little bit of overkill for the SCSA I.

Do not go to China IT Certify Site!
Nice try, that is not a dump site, but a business site. More backdoor advertising, eh? I like the way brainbuzz forums censor spammed url's by adding them to the censored word list so then anytime someone puts the url in their post, the url gets scrambled as to be unreadable.
I recommend that ChinaIT site be given this type of treatment.
