WOOOOHOOOO !!! Passed.
Well I passed this test after about a year of working with Win2k and then studying each subject for the last month, a week at a time. It took me two hours and I found that it was not as hard as I thought it would be.
Common sense and knowing the product was a definite plus.

No performance monitor questions, No Network Monitor questions and only two subnetting questions. Lots of RRAS, DHCP, DNS, GPOs. Was not that hard if you know your stuff.

Hi JoniF,
Congratulations on your pass! Hopefully the people here will treat you a little better than they did over there on another board!
By the way, on a scale from one to ten, how much help did you find the Transcenders in learning the material?
I am making a desparate attempt at trying to get all this stuff into my head before the deadline(not looking so good right now) and am looking for a way to economize my time and maximize my knowledge, if such a thing exists.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Wow, only 2 subnetting questions? I had more on the TCP/IP exam. Boy those skills are a bit on the rusty side too!
Thanks again and good luck with what is next.

The Transcenders were very good for their explanations. I also used the practice tests from www.2000exams.com. They are online tests and they have great explanations. I really did not see any questions that were the same as Transcenders but just working through the Transcenders helped with some of the things I did not know. I also used Microsoft White Papers. Read through the RIS one several times and then set up a RIS server. I had taken the 1560b course in the beginning of this year but that did not go in depth in to the RRAS stuff. I actually suprised myself at how much I did know.
Good Luck

Hi, thanks for the tips. Well, I hope that I will be surprised at how much I know because right now it feels like almost nothing!
Anyway, I am not reall concerned about how close the questions are on the Transcenders, but does it help you learn the concepts well enough.
Anyway, I hope that I can pull it all together, because I have a long way to go, and not too much time!
Thanks again and good luck wiht your next one!
