216 vs. 228/9

I was just wondering which exam was the hardest to take first: 216 or 228/9? I am busy preparing for my MCDBA, and I am not sure which one to complete first.

Any suggestions and comments would be much appreciated.

Hi Bass2k1,

I've not sat 216 yet but at a guess I would put the level of difficulty in this order:

216, 229, 228.

But really, I believe that it depends on your background and experience, perhaps if you post some more detail we could be more help to you.

I found 229 easier than 228 but this could well be more to do with my particular background and work experience than any inherent difference in the level of "difficulty" of the exam.

Whichever exam you choose to do first, I would recommend booking the date well in advance and focussing on that one exam - then as soon as you have passed it, book the next exam and start focussing on that. It helps to have a visual calendar where you cross off each day before your exam, it helps to motivate you when you see the days until the exam disappearing!

That's what I found, anyway.

Good luck with your MCDBA.

Cassie
