Talking Question

Hello all!! I am new to the forum but I actually have been looking in for about six months so I know how professional and serious you all are. So,here goes my dilemma. Okay, I took a hands-on CCNA class a couple of months back, excellent class. I have been studying like crazy. I have the Sybex CCNA e-trainer, CCNA for Dummies, Cisco Certified Network Associate Study Guide by Osborne, CCNA Transcender, RouterSim, my class notes, and I could go on forever. My question though is I am scared to take the test because I am not extremely comfortable with creating access-lists and subnetting. Am I scared for no reason at all? (I have been putting this test off for four months now.) Thanks to all in advance!!!!!

Thumbs up Take the Exam

I say take the exam. The basic outline of the exam is as follows:

Bridging/Switching (71%)
OSI Reference Model & Layered Communication (94%)
Network Protocols (70%)
Routing (100%)
WAN Protocols (71%)
Network Management (75%)
LAN Design (75%)
Cisco Basics, IOS & Network Basics (85%)

I have put the % of what I passed in ( ) after each section this gave me a passing score of 870 (849 required). If you don't take the exam now you never will. If you go to the exam notes on this site it will tell you basically what you need to know.

I hope this helps and good luck on your exam!
