Bgp

Looking for other resources besides Sybex on BGP. Does anybody have any suggestions on what would be a good resource to understand BGP??

Thanks in advance!

Arrow Take your choice

There are two pretty good Cisco books on the subject, be fore-warned that BGP is a very large topic, for the CCNP you don't need to know everything about it but it would help to know as much as you can.

My first choice for BGP only is IRA (Internet Routing Architectures) Second Edition by Sam Halabi. Awesome, easy to understand and goes from the basics to full blown internet architectures. The second is the old standby, Routing TCP/IP Volume I. Not as lengthy in BGP as IRA is but it can get the job done. Plus with TCP/IP is you get some great explinations of other routing protocols in addition to BGP.

Later--
