Question Physical Memory Dump Question?

While @ work a WS had the blue screen of death and stated, " dumping physical memory".
Does this mean that the Hdd is going to crash or should I just reformat the hard drive and reimage the machine?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you found another Windows "feature". This type of error probably doesn't mean you need to do either of these unless it's reoccuring.

Physical Memory Dump Question?

Thanks for replying I'll keep that in mind as I continue to see this error @ various machines in the work place.

Have a great day!

If you see that on multiple machines then it sounds like a poorly written application is to blame. Try to find out if the blue screened machines shared a common app.
