Question Power cord

I got my cisco 2524 router without a power cord (the one go from the back of the router to the wall), the regular desktop PC power cord fits my question is can I use it I mean can I use a desktop power cord to power up a 2524 cisco router or I will be getting some smoke ?
If you dont have insuranse dont reply to this post , just kidding all replies are welcome

Sorry, you will not get smoke in this way. I power my routers from those desktop power cord without any problem. Just make sure the total power is less than the supply power if connect multiple routers to an power panel.

You are perfectly fine by powering up your Cisco equipment with the PC cord. The amperage draw is not high enough to cause a concern.
