Greetings all

I'm kinda new to the MCSE world. I recently completed Cisco CCNP and was going to work on the MCSE track just to be well rounded. Anyways, I've got a few questions.

Does Microsoft still use adaptive testing ? What MCSE certs would work well to compliment my existing Cisco Certs.. thanks much..

Welcome to the MCSE world.

I did my MCSE exams a few months back and none of the exams was adaptive. I hope things haven't change since then.

For your case, I think MCSE is the ultimate cert to go for. Maybe you'd like to start with MCSA first if you're new to Microsoft OS. I've got my MCSE and I'm planning to get CCNA soon. For more information on Microsoft certifications, you may visit the site at:

i have just finished 5 of the exams and they are not adaptive [they vary depending upon the exam] in the amount of questions.a example is 70-210 is 50 ,70-215 is 51 etc.good luck to you .

I'm Jack n u'll be seeing a lot of me in all forums. I'm into training of about all subjects from Cisco to MS. Currently pursuing CCNP and some CompTIA certifications. You see, MS exams are very easy and u need not worry to much bout them. Just stick to this forum and you'll learn all those knacks u need to pass this exam. And yes, one thing i came to know from mcpquestionbank.com. Do not use the back button in any MS exams as it removes the checks from the current answer and unscores it. Its like some bug or a delibrate work to keep people from taking more and more exams. PM me if you need any more information as i've to travel a lot. So i may not visit the forums for days.
