you can download software without a cco
just not "enterprize" version and i don't think
anyone here is looking to get fired

Not all CCO account allow you to download IOS, you need to have a contact with Cisco, so is for TAC case openning.

Yep, not unless the person who passes you the IOS wants to get fired from his company. I don't think there is any other way.
