My First Failed Cert!!!!
Well guys I guess there is a first time for everything I just don't know how to deal with it. I have never failed any certifications exam because I always give a hundred and ten percent but this time it was not good enough. Although it was the CCIE written exam I still thought I had everything down. I guess I should listen up and do CCNP first. I ONLY FAILED BY ONE QUESTION AHHHHH!!!!!!

Randy, I noticed your working on CCIE as well. Did you earn CCNP and DP before you went ahead with IE studies? If so does it help a great deal. I don't work with routers a whole lot at work but I do have a couple of used 2500's at home as well as every sim on the market (I think). CCIE is a title I have wanted since day one but I think I might be jumping the gun. GOOD LUCK

I've got one more exam before getting my CCNP, but my goal all along was CCIE. I figure that in this track, you've bound to get several failures before you get the big prize. Just gotta keep on trying.

Thanks Randy, I guess the first fail is the toughest to get over. I think I will step back and go for CCNP. In all honesty I think I was lucky that I only failed the written by one because I thought I did worse. In retrospect I don't think I would have deserved to pass.
