1) One of the optional results is to encrypt passwords while being transmitted. In the proposed solution, it mentions using any authentication. I understand that PAP is also used during this mode. Since PAP is unsecured, does the proposed solution meet that specific optional result 100%. This looks to be another question that if asked by anyone but Microsoft it would not be correct. Any ideas here people.
2) What is the highest possible security with someone using DES...this is Ian's Q#176

q164>i honestly think this is D for some reason, Allowing any authentication wont protect the password i dont think, and no data encrpytion is solved aswell,,not to sure on this one...
its possible that any authentication protects the password, (i havent read anything on it yet) but in the question, there is no data encrpytion what so ever..
who am i to say..i havent even done the test yet, this week though..
anyways,.hope i helped with the first q.
