CNE 6 anyone?
I have a question with regards to the CNE 6 track.....
....I have seen that for CNE 6 you have to take Network+, if I have Networking Essentials do I still have to take this or is it waivered? I have tried to contact Novell Education via e-mail (over a week ago) but still no response from them.
Thanks

are you planning to finish/get your CNE5 first? if you do, i'd bet there's a single (or few) upgrade test to take like there was with CNE4.x to 5.x. i haven't look on novell's site yet and only skimmed what's been mentioned here... shoot 'em another email or call em. they have a toll-free number.
oh, wait, i don't know if they do infact have a toll-free # for the brits. maybe i will call...

ok. i called. it's still too early to know anything at this point. the product (NW6) isn't to be out until October. then, the testing/cert options should follow. as for upgrading, she could basically only speculate and said that it should be similar to what they did with 4 to 5.
over and out.

They (novell) do appear to be building themselves up big for this one.
Here in the land of Oz, I'm sure its (NW6) all the wizard will talk about during the one Net Summit 2001 that we're about to have.
If I hear any juicy bits, esp. re certs, I'll post back.
