mux any one know??????? urgent
regarding TDM, and FDM
i know thet tdm uses time division multiplexing
and that fdm uses frequency division multiplexing, and that fdm can use multiple frequencies simultaneously, what i would like to know is which of these uses a mux ??
need this reply soon thanks.
i cant seem to find any resources to answer this they seem to go around it and not mention the mux.

FDM.
The multiplexing method commonly used with analogue transmission is known as frequency division multiplexing, and is achieved by dividing the channel bandwidth into bands and allocating a band to each system requiring the use of the channel for the transmission of its signals. A system can then convert its signals from their inherent frequency range to the range of frequencies allocated for their transmission by using a modulation technique.
Anymore??????

It's a good job that I know it then isn't it or the Networking Essentials exam and everything else networking/internetworking that I have done is for nowt!!
Sorry, but the more I read about Network+, the more I can't be bothered with it and Comptia (even though Novell say otherwise)
