Ospf
Is there a book, guide, something other than the boring BSCN book that I can use to help me understand how to design and implement this routing protocol in a backbone environment?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Advanced IP Routing
Cisco Press has a great book on Advanced IP Routing for CCIE that has a pretty good section on OSPF, EIGRP, and BGPv4. Almost seems to be a great one to study for the exam!!
Good luck!

As you can tell from the other posts there are several including a Cisco Press book devoted only to OSPF but all that have been mentioned go much further indepth then required for that exam. Even with that said I will always back Doyle's TCP/IP book as a great reference and a good book to explain points that still confuse you.
